Champion Lakes will be represented at the upcoming Ten Rater Class and Marblehead Australian Championships being held at Yarrawonga VIC 16-22 February as well as the International A Class Championship at West Lakes, SA 26-27 February.

20200206_MYarrawonga, located 281 km north-east of Melbourne lies on the border between Victoria and New South Wales at the south-western corner of Lake Mulwala where the lake passes through the Yarrawonga Weir and flows into the Murray River. Mulwala, which is located in New South Wales, spreads along the western shore of the lake.

Simon Ellis & Glenn Dawson will be representing us in the International Ten Rater Class and will be joined by Cliff Davis & Sean Wallis for the International Marblehead Class Championship. The event hosted by the Victorian Radio Yachting Association (VRYA) in conjunction the Yarrawonga Yacht Club will see competitors in both classes travel from across most states of Australia to participate. Each of the two classes will sail their championship over three days with a lay day in between with the 10R sailing 16-18 February & Marblehead 20-22 February.

The International A Class Championship to be held at West Lakes has been conveniently scheduled to allow competitors to travel from Yarrawonga with adequate time to prepare and participate. Dawson & Ellis will once again represent the club in this championship being held over two days (26-27 February).
